Section.80 is Kendrick Lamar's debut studio album. Released in 2011, the album explores themes of drug abuse, racism and other social issues stemming from the 1980's that still impact people to this day. It highlights the problems experienced by those who are exposed to violence, poverty and crime on a daily basis, as Kendrick was throughout his childhood.
